What is a structured interview?
Structured interviews are an HR strategy used during the recruitment and interview processes. It is a type of job interview meant to evaluate a set of candidates using the same predetermined questions. Typically, job-related questions and scenarios are used during the interview to gauge the candidate’s skill level. Following the interview, the interviewer rates the candidate’s answers on a standardized scale. The standardized questions and ratings allow candidates to be compared in a less biased way.
